Closing The Gap Day 2024

The ALIGN team, along with the others from the Indigenous Genomics team, spent a fabulous the day at Closing The Gap Day in Adelaide. The team were so pleased with how engaged and interested people were to talk about genomics and DNA, and spent the whole time chatting with people and telling them about our work.

The kids had a great time making their own DNA models out of pipe cleaners, and everyone was impressed with Holly’s crocheted DNA model (modelled below by Justine)!

What a great event, we’ll be back next year 😃
