National Capacity Building Flagship
Deploying genomics in research and health so that it delivers benefit to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is a “whole of system” agenda. To achieve success, a capacity building program will be critical to help individuals, families, communities, health care providers, researchers, educators, regulators and the commercial sector to understand the intricacies of genomics in the Indigenous context. The SA Node of ALIGN will undertake work to develop a national capacity building plan designed to deliver the benefit of genomics to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
